From Concept to Deployment: How L-Acoustics Deploys Agent-Based AI at the Heart of Its Business ?
By Dr. Aurelie Lecain, Data & AI Director, Global L-Acoustics

As a global leader in professional sound reinforcement, L-Acoustics designs and manufactures audio systems deployed in the world’s largest concert halls, stadiums, and public spaces. In an industry where technical excellence and creativity go hand in hand, the integration of AI represents both a strategic opportunity and a cultural challenge. This presentation outlines L-Acoustics’ journey in deploying AI agents to support its core business functions: R&D, communications, sales support, and strategic management. Through concrete examples—including the “Communication Intelligence Agent” project, an internal agent connected to the company’s knowledge bases—Aurélie Le Cain shares the operational lessons learned from an ongoing transformation: data governance, the coexistence of automation and human validation, adoption by diverse job roles, and the establishment of lasting trust in AI results. This analysis is rooted in the industrial reality of a company that combines high technical standards with global ambition.

Biography: Aurélie Le Cain is Global Director of Data & AI at L-Acoustics, a world leader in professional sound systems. With a Ph.D. in statistics and computer science (University of Bordeaux / CEA), she gained her experience in industrial AI at Essilor Luxottica, where she led the data strategy for connected eyewear. At L-Acoustics, she is now deploying AI agents to support the company’s strategic functions—R&D, communications, and sales—with a firm belief: AI creates value only if it is governed, embedded in business operations, and designed to last. A winner of the 2023 Women in Industry Awards and co-founder of the ElleStime collective, she advocates for a more diverse and responsible tech industry.
