As HPC and loT are becoming more and more connected, in particular with the rise of edge computing, Thales is more and more concerned by the HPC domain. First, in the domain of simulation with the use of large scale infrastructures, Thales is an advanced HPC user for SPACE, SECURITY and DEFENCE.

ln addition, Thales is targeting the TrUE (Transparent Understandable Ethical) Al thanks to the use of high performance computing ressources for Data based and Model Based Al. Now, Thales addresses the trustworthly continuum computing with the objective to move applications running on HPC/servers to the heterogeneous edge using Intel, ARM or RISC-V processors, as well as GPU and FPGA accelerators. And finaly, Thales is concerned with the use of future quantum computing resources and wishes to experiment them on its use cases.

Note that Thales is a user of CCRT facilities, participates in European projects (HiPeac, eProcessor, Fractal, etc.), and wishes to bring its experience and industrial requirements to the next generation of HPCs with GPU and QPU systems within the TERATEC community.
