Digital Simulation for High Performance, Big Data and Machine Learning (AI): Technology challenges and diversity of use

Opening the Power of Virtual Universes to Extend & Improve the Real World
Sébastien Massart
Chief Corporate Strategist, Dassault Systèmes

The accelerated virtualization of all human activities leads to an in-depth transformation of all industries. From now on, virtual twins enable to understand and govern highly complex systems, like for example in autonomous mobility, biotechnologies or energy.

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform, developed by Dassault Systèmes, opens new possibilities for “in silico” experiments, coupling the power of modeling and simulation with the unique observation capacity derived from big data technologies. This approach breaks the silos between disciplines, leading industrial or scientific organizations to a new agile and learning cycle.

These aspects will be presented based on examples from healthcare (virtual twins of organs and clinical trials), research on batteries and new mobility systems.
