TB01 Independence/Technological Mastery, and Data Privacy
As high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and quantum technologies become central to critical systems, the issue is no longer just one of performance, but of data control, transparency, and technological dependence. This round table addresses these questions through the prism of concrete choices: architectures, software and hardware chains, data management, and standards. Where does international cooperation and standards remain relevant? How can security requirements, scientific openness, and industrial competitiveness be balanced ? The discussions will draw on feedback and visions to identify real levers of action. By bringing together industry players, suppliers, researchers, and experts, the round table seeks to chart a credible path: technological solutions based on trust, excellence, and the ability to innovate.
With the participation of:
-
Cristos Datiskas, Programme Manager, EuroHPC
-
Francois Pellegrini, Professor, Université de Bordeaux
-
Bruno Lecointe, Senior Vice-President, Head of HPC, AI, and Quantum, Bull
-
