  • Present the High Performance Computing public roadmap of Dassault Systèmes to member companies

R & D PROJECTS

Dassault Systemes Simulia develops physics-based simulation software specifically designed to take advantage of modern, multi-core compute environments including GPU. We have several ongoing research and development activities in this area with customer-facing deliveries planned for the coming years

Application areas include computational structural mechanics (FEA-based), computational fluid dynamics, and electro-magnetics. Active research tapies include new algorithmic techniques for large-scale non linear structural simulations, hybrid shared-memory / distributed-memory (SMP/DMP) algorithms and fine-grained dynamic load balancing forvery large transient dynamic simulations leveraging modern multi core and GPU-enabled compute environments.
ln addition, we have ongoing activities related to GPU acceleration of eigensolvers and modal analysis solvers for large Noise & Vibration problems.
