Bruno FEIGNIER

Bruno FEIGNIER, Head of the Department Analyse, Surveillance, Environnement (DASE) at CEA, with a large expertise in seismology. Since 2001, he is deputy chairman of the CSEM (Centre Sismologique Euro-Méditerranéen). He is also a member of the French delegation of experts inside the OTICE (Organisation du Traité d’Interdiction Complète des Essais) and member of the commission specialised in earth sciences in charge of the assessment of the geophysical observatory laboratories of CNRS. Bruno Feignier is also a recognized expert at the European commission and a member of the European Geophysical Union and the American Geophysical Union. From 2002 to 2006, he chaired the French scientific group (Groupement d’Intérêt Scientifique) on “network of accelerometers” gathering several laboratories from the CNRS, the Universities, BRGM, IRSN, LCPC, and CEA. This group is involved in the assessment of seismic hazards in France.
