Serge Eury
Vice-President - Research and Technology of the Snecma group

Serge Eury is the Vice-President - Research and Technology of the Snecma group since 2002 and is in charge of Research & Technology activities for aeronautic and space propulsion. Serge Eury had various activities related to the VULCAIN engine for the Ariane 5 launcher which were rewarded with the Astronautics award of the AAAF (Association Aéronautique & Astronautique de France). He was appointed Chief Project Engineer of the Vulcain engine and then Ariane 5 Program manager. This program represented a challenge for Europe both in technical terms (first high-power cryogenic engine), and organizationally, with 33 companies in 12 countries participating in the program.  In the autumn of 1995, Serge EURY was the Deputy Vice-President of the Heavy Liquid Propulsion Division. His responsibility was then extended to the entire liquid propulsion of the Ariane family.
